QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre)
QTAC currently processes applications for admission to the majority of undergraduate courses offered by universities in Queensland, Bond University, the Australian Maritime College in Tasmania, and to some courses at universities in Northern NSW. It also processes applications to full-time advanced diploma and diploma courses in Queensland institutes of TAFE and some private providers of post-secondary courses.
If you have a preliminary acceptance to one of these institutes you must have all required paperwork and/or course results to them by the end of December. Visit the QTAC website to determine the deadline for this year.
VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre)
VTAC is the central office that receives and processes applications for admission to most undergraduate degree courses at participating institutions in Victoria. This includes TAFE, independent tertiary colleges and universities. VTAC processes a variety of applications for universities and tertiary educational institutions within Victoria.
If you have a preliminary acceptance to one of these institutes you must have all required paperwork and/or course results to them by the beginning of December. Visit the VTAC website to determine the deadline for this year.
Final exam deadlines
Please be aware that you must give 14 days notice to sit your final exam.
- You must sit all exams for VTAC by November 25th 2011 for the 2012 enrolment cycle.
- You must sit all exams for the second round of offers for QTAC 2011 by May 6th 2011.
- You must sit all exams for QTAC by December 2nd 2011 for the 2012 enrolment cycle.
- You must sit all exams by December 16th 2011 to meet the January 25th 2012 enrolment Deadline for QTAC
Unilearn instructional staff will not be available from June 27th 2011 to July 8th 2012 and from December 12th 2011 to January 10th 2012 for Christmas break. Please plan accordingly to meet any of the December 2011/January 2012 deadlines you may have. Please refer to Unilearn Calendar (PDF, 115kb) for dates.
If you do not have an end of the year deadline or midyear deadline you will need to sit your final exam outside of the following peak exam times.
